POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Evening Janitor / Cleaner at Hartville Hardware, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers and team members after store hours. This is a consistent, reliable part-time role — three evenings per week — ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and likes to see real results at the end of every shift. Hartville Hardware is the largest independent hardware store in the country, locally owned and part of HRM Enterprises. Our team is built on people who show up, take pride in what they do, and care about the environment they help create. Cleaning or janitorial experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right person.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash and recycling throughout the store Refill paper products and cleaning supplies as needed Spot-clean entryways and high-traffic areas Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the entire store Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning equipment and chemicals
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Reliable and dependable — you show up and you follow through Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and stay on task without supervision Positive attitude and a strong work ethic No experience needed. Cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus — but we are willing to train the right person who shows up, works hard, and takes pride in the job.
