Job Description

ST. EDWARD HIGH SCHOOL
part-time Day Shift Custodian opening part-time (11am - 4pm) Monday through Friday, 12 month position St. Edward High School educates the hearts and minds of a diverse group of young men to have the competence to see and the courage to act as men of hope and faith for the transformation of the world. Keeping the school clean is the overall responsibility of the custodian. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Replenishing stock in bathrooms
  • Cleaning bathrooms
  • Gathering and emptying trash
  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Monitoring building safety and security
  • Dusting all hard surfaces
  • Moving heavy furniture to reach corners and crevices of covered parts of the room
  • Cleaning laboratory equipment, such as computers and tables
  • Coordination along with manual dexterity and proper lifting methods
  • Equipment selection and proper equipment techniques Must be available to work school games and school events as needed.
