Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Cleaner for a busy dental office, working Monday through Friday during evening hours. This vital role ensures the clinic remains spotless, hygienic, and welcoming for patients and staff alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all patient and staff areas, including treatment rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and hallways Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate chemical agents, ensuring safe handling and proper storage Use commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums to maintain floors, carpets, and surfaces in top condition Conduct custodial duties including trash removal, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies Follow safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting to prevent injuries Maintain cleanliness standards by adhering to established procedures for industrial and healthcare facility cleaning Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work, preferably within healthcare or commercial settings Knowledge of chemical agents used in cleaning and disinfecting procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards and safety regulations Prior custodial or facilities maintenance experience is highly desirable Excellent time management skills to complete nightly duties efficiently within scheduled hours This role offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to the health and comfort of patients.
