Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine. Conduct routine trash removal, recycling collection, and restocking of supplies to keep spaces tidy and functional. Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to support overall facility operations. Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and respond promptly to special cleaning requests or emergencies. Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs and painting is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary.
