Tank Wash Tech- 2nd Shift

2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (Sun-Thur) Job summary: To clean Store & Haul and outside carriers food grade tankers. Responsible for the cleanliness, accuracy of paperwork and day-to-day operations in the tank wash. This is a highly physical job and employees are required to be in their feet for at least 8 hours per day. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clean food grade tankers using tools provided (pressure washer, spinner, etc.).
• Work with tank wash manager to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment.
• Maintain yard cleanliness (clean up debris)
• Perform daily checks on spotter equipment.
• Complete all trailer wash paperwork in full and without error.
• Perform daily/weekly tasks as assigned by manager (clean equipment, trash, inventory, clean floor, fill chemicals, etc.).
• Initiate and follow the downtime procedures when necessary.
• Adhere to all safety and department procedures and policies set forth in the tank wash.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Ability to climb on trailer, catwalk, and around all equipment.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 to consecutive hours per day.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and in an environment that may exceed 90°and working with 200° water.
• Ability to work in a confined space and be exposed to strong, offensive odors.
• Ability and willingness to use all safety apparatus and PPE that is required to perform the essential functions of the position.
