Midnight Custodian 9519 East Market Street, Warren, OH 44484 $12 an hour - Part-time $12 an hour - Part-time Company Overview Avalon Inn and Resort is a premier destination resort in the region, offering guests exceptional hotel accommodations and amenities year-round. We are dedicated to providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Midnight Custodian to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our resort facilities during overnight hours. Your efforts will ensure a pristine environment that enhances guest experiences and supports our high standards of cleanliness and safety. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning carpets, upholstery, and hard surfaces as needed Maintain facilities by performing basic custodial duties like trash removal, restocking supplies, and minor repairs Assist with residential painting projects or touch-ups to uphold the aesthetic quality of the property Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to ensure a safe working environment Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods Experience with facilities maintenance and general upkeep tasks Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods Prior porter experience or background in industrial or hospitality cleaning is a plus Join our team as a Midnight Custodian and play a vital role in maintaining the high standards that make Avalon Inn and Resort a top destination.
