Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaning Associate to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment to our school. As a key member of our custodial staff, you will perform essential cleaning tasks that ensure the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in active roles and take pride in creating pristine spaces for staff, students, and visitors alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms and office spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, sanitization of surfaces and trash removal Conduct routine janitorial duties like restroom sanitation, sinks, toilets, mirrors, floor and surface disinfecting to uphold health standards Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly Perform other duties as assigned by Cleaning Supervisor and/or School Business Administrator Qualifications Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards Physical ability to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment for extended periods Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours Join us in creating spotless environments that make a positive impact every day!
