Janitor (Part-time)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks in an office setting, with a focus on high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We are hiring for 15-20 hours on weekday evenings. Must be flexible or willing to work weekends. Pay starts at $14 an hour but has the possibility to raise based on performance to $15 in 60 days. Duties Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping and mopping to ensure surfaces are well-maintained. Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when supplies are low. Skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently. Experience in commercial cleaning practices is preferred but not required. Familiarity with custodial duties in various settings (industrial, residential). Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills : interact positively with team members and facility occupants.

Physical Stamina :
