Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking (2) dedicated and detail-oriented cleaners to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness in residential homes as well as a few businesses in Altus and surrounding areas such as Tipton, Blair, etc. Cleaning is a physically demanding, fast-paced and quality driven industry. Team members are on their feet most of the day and regularly bend, squat, lift, scrub, and move quickly between tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and take pride in consistently providing excellent quality cleaning services. Maid Mamas LLC operates 9a-4pm M-F. Occasional Saturday work is available. Most jobs start at about 9am. We have a couple evening shifts available each month as well but these are not required. Pay Our pay system is a combination of hourly pay on hourly rate jobs and commission pay on flat rate jobs. Cleaners start at $14/hr while training (3-6wks), then pay increases to $16/hr on hourly rate jobs, with raises given periodically based on performance, and commission on flat rate jobs. The average hourly breakdown earnings of commission jobs is $17-$25/hr depending on the efficiency of the cleaner and the home. Some homes with efficient cleaners have a higher hourly breakdown of earnings. Duties Perform needed cleaning of residential properties, ensuring all areas are cleaned to meet expectations and are well-maintained Launder linens and towels as required, ensuring they are clean and presentable for use, as well as make-up beds as needed (mainly applies to short term rentals) Follow company policies and procedures to ensure personal, client and team well-being and satisfaction Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks to the appropriate personnel Maintain the cleanliness of your provided vacuum during the week and complete deep cleans of it on Friday or Saturday Communicate with team members and clients professionally Experience Previous experience in residential cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred Familiarity with housekeeping practices is a plus Customer service experience is a plus This is a W-2 position. Cleaning supplies are provided by the company.
