Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and staff in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Your work directly supports the health, comfort, and dignity of the seniors we serve. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, dining rooms, offices, and other community spaces. Follow established cleaning schedules and infection prevention procedures. Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables safely and efficiently. Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed. Respond promptly to spills and other housekeeping needs. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the appropriate department. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely according to company policies and manufacturer guidelines. Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, including those living with dementia. Maintain confidentiality and protect resident privacy. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Skills Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, especially in healthcare, senior living, hotels, or hospitality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
