This vital role ensures that our environment remains welcoming, organized, and well-maintained for employees, clients, and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a pristine space. As a Day Porter, you will be the first line of support in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep throughout your shift. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards. Conduct routine janitorial duties across various areas such as lobbies, hallways, offices, and common spaces. Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, waxing, and other floor care procedures to ensure surfaces remain polished and safe. Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning projects as needed. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment. Handle light custodial duties such as window washing or minor painting tasks to enhance the facility's appearance. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for efficient operations. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Experience with industrial cleaning processes or facilities maintenance is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial cleaning supplies and equipment usage. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
