Job Description

GD Resources LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Technician to support custodial operations at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Fields Facility located in Fields, Oregon. This facility serves as a bunkhouse and office environment supporting federal operations and seasonal occupancy throughout the year. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining clean, sanitary, and professional environments while working independently in accordance with federal quality and safety standards. Position Summary The Janitorial Services Technician will perform routine and deep-cleaning custodial services for a 2,000-square-foot federal facility that includes: 8 bedrooms Kitchen/break room Living/common areas Two restrooms with showers Office and hallway areas Services will include regular cleaning, disinfecting, laundry services, waste removal, floor care, restroom sanitation, and periodic deep-cleaning tasks. Schedule High Season (May 1 - October 31) Two service visits per week Wednesday and Saturday or Sunday Low Season (November 1 - April 30) One service visit per week Saturday or Sunday Additional cleaning services may occasionally be required for special events with advance notice. Key Responsibilities Sweep, dust mop, vacuum, and damp mop floors Clean and disinfect restrooms, showers, sinks, toilets, and fixtures Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated landfill location Dust and clean furniture, partitions, walls, doors, and surfaces Clean kitchen appliances including microwave, refrigerator, and stove/oven Wash, dry, fold, and replace linens and towels Clean windows, glass doors, light fixtures, and walk mats Restock restroom and facility supplies Replace light bulbs as needed Report pest or maintenance concerns to management Maintain cleaning schedules and quality standards Protect government property and equipment during cleaning activities Periodic Cleaning Requirements Monthly appliance and window cleaning Quarterly interior glass and light fixture cleaning Semi-annual wall wipe-downs and exterior window/screen cleaning Qualifications Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred Ability to work independently and maintain consistent schedules Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards Reliable transportation required Ability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods Professional demeanor and dependability Experience working in commercial, hospitality, or government facilities is a plus Equipment & Supplies The Government will provide: Toilet paper Paper towels Garbage bags Laundry detergent Light bulbs Utilities Contractor personnel must provide: Cleaning equipment Cleaning agents and disinfectants Transportation Work Environment This position requires work outside standard office hours in a quiet and professional federal facility setting.
