Custodian

Our custodial staff play an important role in providing our students with a safe, comfortable, and clean place to learn, play, and develop. Custodians with Silver Falls perform a variety of tasks that involve the general care of building and grounds. This position is a District Wide position and will begin as soon as possible. It is a swing shift position, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. This is a rewarding full-time, year-round position that offers competitive pay and extremely robust benefits, including: Employer paid family health insurance Employer paid pension and retirement plans with PERS 12 paid holidays 3 paid personal days 12 paid sick days Paid Vacation Pay ranges from $17.53 to $22.45 per hour (Column F of the Classified salary schedule) with evening shift differential for hours of work performed after 6:00 PM. To succeed in our custodian role you must have the ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff; must have basic reading, writing and math skills; ability to use cleaning materials and equipment with skill, efficiency, and safety; ability to care for different types of building surfaces; and knowledge of requirements for maintaining school buildings in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
