Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains and debris effectively. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, and common areas by sanitizing surfaces and disposing of waste. Use specialized cleaning products and equipment for environmental services that promote health and safety standards. Execute routine janitorial tasks such as dusting, window washing, trash removal, and restocking supplies. Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and ongoing facility integrity. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional settings is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and environmental services. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, extractors, vacuums, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues clearly. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
