Janitor

Our technicians and in-house capabilities enable us to tackle jobs that no other shop can handle. We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Janitor to join our team at H&K Equipment in our Coraopolis, PA branch . In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff, customers, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows instructions well, and understands the importance of cleanliness in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

Clean restrooms, training rooms, offices, kitchens, hallways, and other common areas Sweep, mop, and vacuum Collect and dispose of trash Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper Keep coolers stocked with ice and water in the summer Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces Salting sidewalks and shoveling in the winter Cut grass in the summer Weed control in the parking lots and gravel Keep waste oil areas clean Check fuels, oils, coolants daily Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any needed repairs Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented Ability to work independently and follow instructions Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
