Part Time Custodian - 29 hours per week Role Overview The Part Time Custodian cleans facility areas to maintain a safe, pleasant, professional environment for all employees to work in. Detailed Responsibilities Attitude Motivated to learn and grow and perform duties with character Adaptability Adjusts to changing needs and maintains efficiency with creativity Efficiency Completes checklists in a timely efficient manner to ensure consistent results Attendance Consistent presence at work, with minimal call-offs and timely communication Courtesy Serves fellow employees by providing a pleasant, orderly environment Safety Works safely and facilitates safety by removing debris and cleaning buildings Availability Willing to do whatever is needed to support the team and serve our customers Detailed Skills and Qualifications Ability to clean efficiently Safe work habits Understanding of effective cleaning methods Performance Expectations Able to work on foot for a full work shift Able to lift 80 pounds occasionally as needed Able to bend and crouch with regularity throughout work shift Growth and Development Opportunities Opportunities for advancement to lead warehouse associate, supervisor and management positions Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely exposed to a variety of extreme temperatures, including protracted work in -5 degree rooms. Reporting Structure The Custodian works under a custodial supervisor and warehouse supervisors who report to warehouse management. Tools and Technology The employee must learn to use all the tools used for cleaning the facilities.
