Janitorial Worker

Janitorial Worker FM Cleaning Services, Inc. As a Janitorial Worker, you will be responsible for the general cleaning of an office and clinical setting. You will be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your duties will include cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and removing trash and recycling.

Location :

The facilities to be cleaned are located in Homer City.

Job Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize all surfaces including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures Restock all supplies, including paper products, hand soap, and hand sanitizer Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly Use and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning chemicals Ensure all areas are free from hazards and comply with safety standards Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor Follow cleaning schedule and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner Adhere to infection control policies and procedures Respond to any cleaning emergencies or special requests as needed Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with staff, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good communication skills and ability to work well with others Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
