Job Description

Position Goal:
Provide assistance with the Operations Department projects. Assist with the district's cleaning and maintenance initiatives including the cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, cafeterias, as well as doing outdoor maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, cafeteria and all other areas of the building Outdoor maintenance as assigned by the Facilities Coordinator. Cleaning and washing buses and other district vehicles. Moving desks, tables, chairs, cabinets, and other furnishings in the buildings., Frequent carrying up to 30 pounds Ability to bend, kneel, climb.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to do occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds Participate as a member of the team and perform cleaning and maintenance work Perform other related duties as required by the Facilities Coordinator and/or
Director of Operation Position Specifications:
Work Year:
Seasonal/Temporary Position, FLSA•Non-Exempt, 6-8 hours per day
Physical Demands:
Frequent twisting, reaching, grasping Lifting•between 30•50 lb. Manual dexterity to use tools and equipment Repetitive movement of fingers and hands for cleaning surfaces
Sensory Abilities:
Visual acuity to read correspondence Auditory acuity Ability to speak clearly and distinctly

Excellent ability to work as a member of a team Must be courteous and able to deal effectively with people Must be cooperative and congenial Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions
Cognitive Ability:
