Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors alike. We are a family owned and operated business here in Lancaster County. As we expand, the opportunity to move into higher level roles will be an option. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance Restock supplies including paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash liners to ensure continuous availability Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to promote environmental health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to uphold a professional appearance Complete cleaning checklists and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly for quick resolution Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or environmental services setting is preferred Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general sanitation practices Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining high cleanliness standards Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly A positive work ethic with reliability and punctuality as essential qualities Reliable transportation and valid drivers license Join us in creating clean, safe environments that inspire productivity!
