Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties across all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and techniques such as buffing and floor care. Conduct janitorial and custodial tasks to ensure a spotless environment, including trash removal, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies. Maintain facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, and touch-ups to uphold the building's appearance and safety standards. Operate industrial cleaning tools and equipment safely to complete deep cleaning projects efficiently. Support overall facilities maintenance by inspecting for issues like leaks or electrical concerns and reporting them promptly for resolution. Assist with portering duties by moving furniture or equipment as needed to support ongoing operations or special projects. Ensure all cleaning supplies and tools are properly stored, maintained, and used in accordance with safety protocols. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, or polishing is desirable. Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices will set you up for success. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning while adhering to safety standards. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity.
