Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained to support a productive and positive atmosphere. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain floor care procedures to ensure a pristine appearance. Conduct cleaning and custodial duties in various settings such as offices, restrooms, and common areas. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as reporting issues that require specialized attention. Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while following safety protocols to prevent accidents or hazards. Support commercial cleaning projects by adhering to schedules and quality standards for specialized cleaning jobs. Contribute to a clean and organized environment by managing storage of cleaning supplies and equipment properly. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred, but not needed Experience with cleaning methods Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment. Previous porter or facilities maintenance roles that demonstrate reliability and attention to detail.
