Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Electronic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help us ensure our medical devices are safe, reliable, and working perfectly. You will use your technical skills to test equipment, figure out why parts fail, and help improve our products. Responsibilities:
Test and Troubleshoot:
Test electronic components, circuit boards, and medical devices to make sure they meet all safety standards.
Investigate Failures:
Look closely at broken or failing products. Find the root cause of the problem and write down what you find.
Repair Equipment:
Fix, calibrate, and maintain electronic tools and medical device prototypes.
Keep Clean Records:
Write clear, accurate reports about your tests and failure investigations. Work with
Engineering:
Share your findings with our design team to help make our medical devices even better and safer.
Education:
Associate Degree Education:
An Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or a closely related technical field.
Experience:
24 months A minimum of 2 years of experience doing failure investigations on electrical products or medical devices.
Physical:
Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Manual Dexterity Skills:
A strong understanding of basic electronic principles (voltage, current, resistance, and circuits). Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints. Hands-on experience using tools like digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering irons. Good written communication skills for creating clear technical reports.
