Job Description

Schedu le: Monday through Friday 10 pm
  • 6:30 am.
Summary/Objective The CIP Operator performs processes and procedures used to maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitation of our cheese manufacturing plant. The goal of a CIP Operator is to use equipment to assist with cleaning the processing equipment. This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. This position report to the Production Manager.
Essential Functions:

Operate automated Clean In Place (CIP) system and equipment as well as perform manual cleaning Sanitize the 8 oz. and 3 lbs. room CIP lines, tanks, valves, and other Clean Out of Place (COP) equipment Monitor flow, temperature, timing, and chemical concentration Disassemble and assemble air valves, pumps and lines for CIP and Production run Prepare for monthly State inspections and company Audits Maintain logs and other records for Audit purposes Contribute to the team effort to assure quality, consistency, efficiency, and reduce loss, etc. Safely operator a forklift Follow sanitation policies, procedures, and requirements Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a manufacturing environment with the following conditions: Exposure to hot or cold climate continuously; Exposure to chemical continuously; Exposure to noise and vibration continuously; Exposure to wet and humid conditions continuously.
