THE JOB Citizens Live at The Wylie is seeking a Cleaning Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of all cleaning functions in the venue to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly experience for the guest. •Residents of the Greater Hill District and surrounding neighborhoods are encouraged to apply. We will host a hiring event for residents closer to the grand opening. Details will be announced as they become available. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline cleaning service staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. Organize and conduct meetings and communicate pertinent information to department. Assign and direct cleaning staff before, during, and after events. Schedule cleaning staff in accordance with show needs and staffing plans, and work with Admin Manager to ensure all staffing needs are met for cleaning department. Handle payroll input for cleaning department. Conduct pre-event inspections of all venue areas prior to opening to ensure cleanliness. Ensure cleanliness of venue is maintained during events—as necessary, address trash, spills and debris, restroom tidiness and stocking, slip hazards, etc. Ensure proper cleaning procedures and followed and correct products are used for various tasks. Report any repair needs in real time to venue leadership, and coordinate with operations team to make arrangements to repair and/or replace damaged equipment. Manage cleaning product inventory and coordinate with venue leadership on orders. Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program, which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating our fans about our efforts. Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue and ensure all trash is removed. Post-show, ensure all surfaces are disinfected, floors are scrubbed, and restrooms are cleaned and restocked. Ensure green rooms, tour catering room, and other artist spaces are cleaned and reset between shows. Align with Operations Manager on budgetary needs for efficient operation of department. Any other task as assigned by the Operations Manager. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful. Position requires extended periods of standing, walking, and being on your feet. Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques. WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years in a similar role. Working knowledge of cleaning needs and best practices for a large facility. Ability to work various, flexible hours, inclusive of nights and weekends. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and/or similar software. Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
