Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness Carry out floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance of all flooring surfaces Maintain facilities by performing light custodial duties such as replacing supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly Support industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including cleaning large equipment or specialized areas Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to keep the environment safe and functional Follow safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment during all custodial activities Qualifications Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies preferred; residential painting or industrial cleaning experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently independently during morning hours while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance needs accurately Embark on a rewarding journey where your efforts directly contribute to a clean and safe environment.
