TITLE:
Part-Time Building Custodian (6:00am-9:00am on Student Attendance Days) 174 days annually. Starting Wage TBD (minimum $15.45/hour)
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds.

Facilities Director
JOB GOAL
To provide students and staff with a safe, appealing, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to teach, learn, play, and work.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a pleasant and courteous manner in the building when dealing with the public, employees, and students.
Keeps building and premises, including sidewalks and play areas, neat and clean at all times.
Shovels, plows, and salts walks and steps as assigned.
Checks daily to ensure that all exit doors are open and/or locked as assigned and are working properly.
Cleans assigned areas daily.
Scrubs and disinfects toilets daily, and cleans all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains in assigned areas daily.
Keeps grounds free from rubbish and litter.
Maintains all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation. Reports needed repairs immediately to the Principal and performs follow-up procedures.
Reports promptly to the Principal any damage to school property.
Moves furniture or equipment within the district as required for various activities and as directed by the principals.
Complies with local and federal laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of trash, rubbish and waste.
Maintains the building and all equipment in a safe operating condition.
Receives and distributes deliveries to the assigned location.
Performs other tasks as the principal may assign.
Supports and implements the goals of the Board of Education.
Terms of Employment:
174 days (student attendance days - 3 hours/day). Starting Wage TBD (minimum $15.45/hour) Salary to be determined annually by the Board Postings current as of 5/31/2026 11:05:58 AM
