Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as buffing machines and floor scrubbers Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly Conduct routine custodial tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to prevent the spread of germs Assist with light maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, repairing minor fixtures, or reporting larger repairs needed for facilities maintenance Support industrial cleaning projects when required, including deep cleaning of large areas or specialized equipment Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors Ability to operate cleaning machinery including floor scrubbers and buffers safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently Basic understanding of facilities maintenance and ability to perform light repairs when necessary Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working on your feet for extended periods Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly We are committed to fostering a positive work environment where your skills make a difference.
