Carpet Cleaning Technician

ServiceMaster of Charleston has a floor care divisions that focuses on carpet and hard floor cleaning in businesses and homeowners. With great customer service for over 35+ years, we have built a reputation for performing quality work in the Tri-County area. Applicants do not need to have experience as we provide on-the-job training for the right employees. However, we are looking for people who will be on time, are great with communication, enjoy customer service, and work hard until the job gets done. Normal working hours are 8am thru 6pm, Monday through Friday, plus weekend work and overtime when customers need us. We have full and part-time positions available. Our technicians make $42,000-$60,000 yearly earning potential with full health benefits, 401K, paid holidays, vacation time, and advancement potential. Ideal candidates will be dependable with solid character traits, and most importantly, have a great attitude. Applicants must have a valid driver's license. A criminal background check and drug screening will be performed on all applicants.

Cleans carpeted rooms and floors with approved cleaning solution Buffs, polishes, and/or strips floors using heavy equipment at heath care facilities, educational facilities, manufacturing space, production areas, athletic facilities, and office buildings Dusts, mops, and/or vacuums floors as assigned; buffs or extracts carpet if needed Strips and waxes floors as scheduled; cleans and maintains entrances as assigned Moves furniture as requested; cleans upholstery as scheduled; cleans equipment Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space Notifies supervisor concerning need for major repairs or additions to original work assignment Performs routine operational maintenance of equipment per manufacture specifications May perform advanced cleaning procedures for carpeted floor and carpet care Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner
