Overview Join our dynamic team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to uphold hygiene standards Carry out specialized floor care procedures including stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing to preserve flooring quality Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces according to established protocols Assist with custodial responsibilities related to industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning projects as needed Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues requiring professional attention Follow safety guidelines and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial and industrial cleaning techniques Strong skills in floor care including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and other custodial tools effectively Familiarity with residential painting or basic maintenance tasks is a plus but not required Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety protocols Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report maintenance issues promptly Join us in creating pristine environments that promote health and productivity!
