Job Responsibilities Responsibilities of the

Custodian:

To keep the agency's facilities clean, tidy, and sanitary by performing custodial and housekeeping duties across all campus buildings and farm-related facilities. Knowledge of how to properly carry out custodial and/ or housekeeping work. Knowledge of custodial and or housekeeping standards and requirements. Skills in use of cleaning tools and equipment. Ability to keep accurate written records. The employee will work independently with limited supervision. The employee will receive a yearly evaluation. Must work with Cafeteria. Manager and Director of Ag and Forestry to clean facilities on a rotating schedule. Empty trash from agency facilities. Clean bathrooms including floors. toilets. showers. mirrors. Clean cafeteria facilities including dining-room, storeroom. freezers, coolers, and deep cleaning of kitchen facility. Restock cleaning supplies and paper products in agency facilities. as needed. Clean agency buildings. This includes but is not limited to: Cafeteria, classrooms. office spaces. barn and animal housing facilities. venue and meeting spaces. Deep-clean kitchen facilities and office space once per month. other duties as assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements Experience in custodial and/or housekeeping work and a valid driver's license.

Additional Requirements:

Position may require the employee to work evenings and weekends. Position requires routine driver duties.

Position requires frequent lifting:

50 lbs. Position requires up-to-date certification(s). Position requires Conditionally Essential declaration. Position may be required to report to work during emergency situations. Must be able to clean tools and chemicals. The employee must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. May have to work several weekends and evenings per year for campus wide events.
