Job Description
Position Summary The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the facility. This position performs routine housekeeping duties in office areas, breakrooms, restrooms, common areas, and exterior grounds. The Custodian helps ensure the facility meets cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards while supporting a positive work environment for employees and visitors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interior Housekeeping Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility. Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly. Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and mirrors. Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other surfaces. Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and sanitizing products. Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, appliances, sinks, and other high-touch surfaces. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management. Exterior Grounds Housekeeping Maintain cleanliness of facility entrances, sidewalks, parking lots, and surrounding grounds. Pick up litter and debris around the property. Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance activities, including weed control and light landscaping duties. Help maintain a professional appearance of the facility exterior.
