In this vital role, you'll be the first point of contact for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, ensuring a pristine environment for residents and visitors alike. Your proactive approach and dedication will help foster a positive living experience, making every resident feel at home. Duties Perform routine cleaning of hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and other communal spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, floor care—including sweeping, mopping, buffing—and restroom sanitation. Assist with custodial responsibilities like window washing, light maintenance, and minor repairs to keep facilities in excellent condition. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for plumbing, electrical issues, or structural concerns. Provide support with residential painting projects or touch-ups as directed to enhance the property's appearance. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to cleaning protocols and safety procedures during all custodial activities. Collaborate with property management staff to ensure all areas meet health and safety standards and are visually appealing. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties, or facilities maintenance. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and stripping floors. Experience with commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums efficiently. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Prior porter experience or background in maintenance roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
