Job Description
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our Crossville team. This position plays an important role in ensuring homes, common areas, and resident-facing spaces are clean, well-maintained, and ready for occupancy. The primary focus of this role is cleaning vacant apartment homes in preparation for new resident move-ins, along with maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of common areas throughout the property. The ideal candidate is thorough, reliable, organized, and able to complete work independently while also supporting the broader property team. This position requires strong attention to detail, good time management, and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards. Duties/Responsibilities Performs apartment turnover cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, fixtures, cabinets, flooring, windows, walls, baseboards, and other surfaces. Cleans and disinfects restrooms, offices, common areas, trash rooms, laundry rooms, hallways, and other shared spaces throughout the property. Vacuums, sweeps, mops, dusts, polishes, washes windows and sills, and performs other general cleaning duties as assigned. Performs minor touch-up painting or related make-ready tasks as assigned. Completes cleaning checklists and documents completed work through notes and/or photos when required. Monitors cleaning supplies and notifies management when inventory needs to be replenished. Assists with trash removal and helps maintain the overall appearance of the property. Supports maintenance and property staff with other related duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough, high-quality work. Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks within expected deadlines. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team. Ability to interact with residents, vendors, and team members in a professional, respectful, and cooperative manner. Ability to read work orders, cleaning labels, safety instructions, and communicate effectively with team members. Ability to maintain honesty, professionalism, and integrity when accessing homes, offices, supply areas, and resident-facing spaces. Experience Minimum of six months of professional cleaning experience preferred. Prior apartment turnover, hotel housekeeping, janitorial, or make-ready experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and standard cleaning equipment. Ability to climb stairs and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, including varying temperatures.
