Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct detailed floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle janitorial duties efficiently by restocking supplies, emptying trash receptacles, and ensuring sanitation standards are met consistently. Assist with industrial cleaning projects and specialized custodial tasks that require attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for lighting, plumbing, or structural issues to ensure a safe environment. Maintain cleanliness during shift changes by following established procedures for sanitation and organization. Use commercial cleaning tools and equipment safely while adhering to health and safety regulations. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices. Experience with industrial cleaning tasks or facilities maintenance is a plus. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies ensures efficient task completion. Knowledge of safety procedures related to custodial work helps prevent accidents and maintains compliance with health standards.
