Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary This position is also available to those who would like a side gig and would be interested in some extra cash in a W2 position. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall safety and comfort of our workplace, creating a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine. Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently. Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold cleanliness standards. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet cleaners is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving supplies throughout the shift.
