In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial and residential properties. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care procedures. Conduct routine custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, window washing, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness of industrial equipment and facilities through specialized cleaning methods suited for heavy-duty environments. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the premises. Operate cleaning machinery like floor buffers and extractors efficiently to ensure optimal results. Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Support additional porter responsibilities including moving supplies or furniture as needed to facilitate ongoing maintenance or event setups. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively in various environments. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and basic facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
