Job Description
Join Our Team! Lambs & Ivy School is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to support our early childhood education program. If you have a passion for working with young children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive, we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and instruction. Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning experiences. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Assist with meals, restroom breaks, and daily routines. Observe and report student progress, behaviors, and concerns to the Lead Teacher. Maintain positive communication with parents and staff. Follow all center policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety procedures. May be required to temporarily cover or assist in other classrooms when staffing needs arise or as directed by administration. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities. Must pass all required background checks. CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
