!!! Pentagon, along with Appax Staffing Solutions, is hiring Clean Room Technicians in Abilene, Texas. We train! We are looking for experienced candidates, but we also welcome applicants with zero experience who are ready to work, learn, and grow in a fast-moving industry. This is a heavy labor cleaning position. Candidates must be reliable, able to work long hours, and physically capable of working in an active construction/clean room environment.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will consist of general interior building cleanup, detailed cleaning, and preparation of work areas and final products for the customer. Duties may include thorough sweeping and cleaning of floors, wiping down piping and conduits, cleaning windows, electrical boxes, dusting bracing, and other heavy labor cleaning tasks as assigned.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Cleaning, vacuuming, wiping, and doodle mopping Removing and disposing of garbage Some material handling Heavy labor cleaning Detail cleaning of interior buildings and work areas Cleaning floors, piping, conduits, windows, electrical boxes, and bracing Following all site safety rules and supervisor instructions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Stooping and kneeling Ability to lift up to 50lbs Cleaning at heights while using mechanical lifts Ability to be on your feet for 12 hours per day Ability to walk on scaffolds and stairs several floors up and down Cleaning overhead where it may be necessary to look up for extended periods of time Ability to work in a physically demanding, heavy labor cleaning environment
ATTIRE IS REQUIRED, BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Steel-toe or composite work boots Must be able to wear a bunny suit Jeans, Dickies, or comparable work pants No leggings, yoga pants, stretchy pants, suits, or similar attire Safety glasses, hard hats, and any additional required PPE will be provided
SCHEDULE
Monday through Saturday 12-hour shifts required Overtime available as needed Night shift !!!!Weekends needed!!!
EXPECTED HOURS
40-80 hours per week
PAY:
$20.00 per hour Overtime pay available
