Austin, TX Job Details Part-time $15 - $16 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Why Your Role Matters As an Occupancy Team Member, you will play an essential role in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our facilities through daily custodial and maintenance support. From keeping spaces spotless to ensuring supplies are stocked and facilities are guest-ready, your work helps create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. We are seeking someone who can work a flexible schedule, with availability of up to 28 hours per week. How You Will Make an Impact Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming center environment by prioritizing and completing custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and cleaning ceiling vents. Communicate facility maintenance needs and operational concerns to center leadership and provide recommended solutions when appropriate. Conduct routine facility inspections and preventative maintenance checks to support the overall upkeep and functionality of the center. Ensure designated supply areas remain fully stocked with necessary items including paper towels, soap, sanitizer, and other custodial supplies. Empty, clean, and maintain waste receptacles throughout the center. Maintain custodial storage areas in a clean, organized, and orderly manner. Demonstrate and model the YMCA's mission, vision, and values in all interactions with members, participants, staff, and guests. Serve as an ambassador of the YMCA's culture and impact by positively representing the organization and sharing our mission-driven work with others. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. What You Bring to the Y 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Have the ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift up to 20 pounds. Having experience in custodial or maintenance work settings is a plus but not required. You are organized, able to prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments.Team Player:
