Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies. Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window washing, and surface sanitizing to uphold high cleanliness standards. Execute specialized floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain optimal flooring conditions. Assist with industrial cleaning projects that may involve heavy-duty equipment or hazardous materials following safety protocols. Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing to ensure uninterrupted service. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a secure environment for colleagues and visitors alike. Skills Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures. Skilled in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing for various flooring types. Familiarity with custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and mops. Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively in diverse settings. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including minor repairs and painting. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
