Nassau Candy is seeking a dedicated part-time Warehouse Porter to support daily operations by keeping our facility clean, organized, and safe. This role is essential in maintaining a productive work environment and includes cleaning bathrooms and common areas and disposing of basic material handling. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting.Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the facility, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and removing debris or waste.Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
Restock and organize cleaning supplies, paper products, and other materials as needed.
Monitor and report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to management.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications & RequirementsPrevious janitorial or maintenance experience a plusAbility to lift and move objects up to 50lbsComfortable standing, bending, and walking for extended periodsBasic understanding of warehouse safety protocolsTeam-oriented attitude with a strong work ethicReliable and punctualAble to work Monday, Tuesday and Friday for a four hour shift.
