Cleaning Full Job Description Job Summary:

Work hour: Monday-Friday 3 pm - 6 pm We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our ABA therapy center. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and understand the importance of a clean facility, especially one that serves children with autism and other developmental differences.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of therapy rooms, offices, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and desks Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and toilet paper Empty trash cans, diaper genie and recycling bins; properly dispose of waste Clean windows and mirrors Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies in an organized manner Follow all safety protocols, especially when using cleaning agents Notify management of needed repairs or potential hazards Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed Ensure the facility is clean and ready each day before clients arrive

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred Knowledge of cleaning products, safety procedures, and sanitation standards Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods Must pass background checks and clearances as required for working in a child-centered healthcare setting
