Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial or residential facilities. Your energetic approach and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that our spaces are hygienic, organized, and inviting for all visitors and staff. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain shiny, well-kept flooring Assist with custodial duties such as replenishing supplies in restrooms and break rooms Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or equipment Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply inventories to ensure accountability and readiness Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and operating cleaning machinery for extended periods Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about creating clean, safe spaces!
