In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your proactive approach will help create a positive atmosphere for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Our company is based in pride and integrity. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring proper hygiene standards are met. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to preserve flooring quality and appearance. Handle industrial cleaning duties as needed, including cleaning large equipment or specialized areas requiring extra attention. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment. Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with safety protocols. Assist with light custodial tasks such as window washing, furniture polishing, and minor repairs when required. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, with familiarity in commercial or industrial settings preferred. Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor care (buffing, stripping, waxing) and general custodial practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary. Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently. Previous experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required.
