Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Church Cleaner, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help create a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment for worshippers and visitors alike. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the church facilities. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all church areas, including sanctuaries, hallways, restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, and common spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and carry out specialized floor care such as buffing and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently. Remove trash and recycling materials regularly to keep the environment tidy and welcoming. Conduct light custodial tasks such as dusting surfaces, cleaning windows, and maintaining fixtures. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably in commercial or institutional settings such as churches or community centers. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
