Job description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The Janitorial Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and order within our facility. This role is essential for creating a safe and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and other occupants. Duties Receives and understands instructions of cleaning requirements of assigned areas. Uses a variety of cleaning equipment, materials and products, such as vacuums, mops, microfiber cloths, cleaning solutions, etc. Depending on assignment may do any or all the following on a daily, weekly or periodic basis: Cleans (vacuums, dusts, mops, etc.) assigned areas to customer and Company standards Empties trashcans, replaces liners, and wipes trashcans as required Cleans and sanitizes, vacuums carpets, and sweeps and mops tile floors Dusts office furniture, blinds, windowsills, plants, air vents, and light fixtures, etc. Spot cleans all interior glass and doors Wipes walls, doors, door frames, and other vertical surfaces free of smudges and fingerprints Cleans and polishes chrome and stainless-steel fixtures, sinks, faucets, kick plates, switch plates, etc. Cleans restrooms including sinks, toilets, partitions, and urinals. Sanitizes counters and sinks. Checks and replenishes paper and feminine hygiene products, soap, and lotion dispensers. Performs all work safely in accordance with OSHA and Company requirements.

Maintains awareness of where all product SDSs are located. Wears personal protective equipment as required. Respond positively and promptly to site work orders. Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies. Experience Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles in the facility setting is required Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols is essential. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results. Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Able to follow work instructions as well as make independent judgments based. Good team skills. Will sit, stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, push, pull and twist on occasion. May be able to lift up to 50 pounds
