Bus Washer/Cleaner

Overview We are seeking a dependable and proactive Bus Cleaner/Grounds Maintenance to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our garage operations. This role is critical in maintaining a well-kept environment for our fleet and facility, performing a mix of custodial tasks, light mechanical work, and organizational duties. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, stays organized, and contributes to a clean and functional workplace.

YOU MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.

Key Responsibilities Respond and close work orders in a timely manner Clean interior and exterior of buses, ensuring a high standard of presentation Perform light-duty bus repairs and routine maintenance tasks as needed Maintain landscaping Maintain cleanliness and organization of the garage and office spaces Keep tools, equipment, and materials properly stored and inventoried Sweep, mop, and sanitize shop and office floors, surfaces, and common areas Report any safety hazards, repair needs, or supply shortages to Fleet Manager Assist with setup and breakdown for fleet-related projects or inspections Perform other facility projects and work tasks as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in facilities maintenance, automotive, or custodial services preferred Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn light repairs Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Work Hours :

24 hours/week•7am to 4pm CST, with 1 hour unpaid lunch (Some weekends, when needed)

Workdays :

•3 days/week•Monday•

Friday Pay :

$15-20/hour

Pay Day :

Weekly•This position does not pay during the off-season weeks. (i.e. District Breaks, including Thanksgiving and Christmas)
