Work Hours :
FT (40 Hours Week), 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through
Friday, Benefits:

General Job Duties:
Follows established cleaning methods in performing daily duties such as dusting (including ceiling fans and air conditioning vents), cleaning/polishing glass and metal surfaces, cleaning restrooms, and sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Ability to use the buffing machine to buff floors and/or willing to learn. Picks up and disposes of trash and litter on the grounds, including removal and disposal of various types of recyclable materials. Requests and collects necessary supplies and equipment, and transports them to work areas. Cleans equipment and returns to the designated area after use. Adheres to Goodwill and departmental policies and procedures. Reports any work or area not cleaned by the shift's end to the immediate supervisor. Performs periodic or situational duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Reports broken, damaged, inoperative equipment, lights, and/or furnishings to the immediate supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications :
Must have good communication skills, be able to read, write, and follow written and/or oral instructions. Preference for performing routine and repetitive duties. Have an eye for detail cleaning. Neat Appearance. Able to work with minimal supervision. Previous janitorial experience is preferred. Must meet disability qualifications set by Ability One/Source America. Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Stands, stoops, walks, dusts (high and low), and lifts throughout the working day. Must be able to periodically lift up to 45 lbs. with assistance and stand/walk for an 8-hour shift. Requires operating mechanical equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and buffers. Works in non-air-conditioned and heated/air-conditioned buildings. Works in dust and the smell of cleaning chemicals. Must be sufficiently mobile to move between buildings at a government facility in all types of weather. May be exposed to all weather conditions during transport and/or while going from one job site to another.
