We're seeking a dependable Plant Janitor to support daily housekeeping and facility maintenance in a busy manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining production areas, offices, and common spaces while assisting with light maintenance and facility organization. Responsibilities Clean and maintain production areas, offices, and common spaces Sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and remove trash throughout the facility Organize and maintain the parts room for easy access to materials Perform light facility maintenance, including hanging signs, shelving, and fixtures Operate a power washer to clean equipment, floors, and exterior areas Perform periodic commercial carpet cleaning Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low Follow all safety policies and procedures Assist with additional housekeeping and facility support duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED required Experience Previous industrial or commercial janitorial experience required Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred Skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized facility Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and other physical activities throughout the shift Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Forklift experience preferred but not required Experience with power washing, commercial carpet cleaning, and basic maintenance using hand tools is a plus Benefits & Perks Competitive hourly pay Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Weekly Pay Employee Referral Bonus Program Paid training Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career growth Consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule Your New Organization Join a well-established manufacturing organization that values cleanliness, safety, and teamwork.
