This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility, particularly in food production and processing areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all food production areas, equipment, and utensils. Execute industrial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to sanitation practices. Assist in the proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with company policies. Conduct regular inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Support food processing operations by keeping workspaces free from contaminants. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred. Familiarity with food production environments is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for moving equipment or materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures in industrial settings is beneficial. Willingness to adhere to all company policies regarding sanitation practices.
